I try to convey mood, feelings, and universal longings rather than literal, physical realism in my work. I often use luminous, bright colors, texture, and strong light and dark patterns to capture a moment in time, a memory, or a location. Gestural forms of people, animals, and landscapes are often the foundation of my multi layered work, but I also enjoy conveying a mood through abstracts.
